The Old Hall Inn

The Old Hall Inn is a place of character and charm that seems to materialize out of the surrounding hills. But this is no trick—everything about it is delightful! The locals provide a lively scene, the food is rich and tempting, particularly the assortment of puddings that appear to be straight out of a patisserie, and the staff is welcoming and helpful! The best part is that dogs are allowed in the guest rooms as well as outside.

The Devonshire Arms

Dogs are welcome both inside and in the guest rooms of The Devonshire Arms, a classy old inn in the Peak District that is Best Dog Friendly Pubs. There are several of nearby walks to burn off lunch, including a short distance from Chatsworth House, one of our favorite walkies.

The Bulls Head

If you’re walking to Thor’s Cave or hiking the Manifold Valley as part of one of our favorite Peak District treks, the Royal Oak in Wetton is the ideal place to halt. Also, because the campsite is only a few yards away, it’s well situated for guests sleeping there.

The tavern dates back to the 1700s and is home to a list of all the landlords that have been there since 1760! Adorable and eccentric, the Oak maintains its cozy ambiance and vintage charm despite its recent renovation.

The Rose and Crown Inn

The Swan Inn

In the Peak District, there’s the Swan Inn, a charming pub that welcomes families and dogs and has a classic country pub appearance with a few quirky touches.
